Recycling Program

MEMBERS: You can help NVGS raise extra much-needed funds by collecting plastic bottles and aluminum cans that we can redeem through California's CRV program.

It's easy if you live locally:

• Save beverage containers labeled "CA CRV" or "CA Cash Refund" (other types of recyclables are not redeemable). If you are unsure, check here: CalRecycle Beverage Container Recycling Program.
• Collect plastic bottles and aluminum cans only for NVGS. Please — no glass!
• Place the containers you collect into plastic bags. Please use separate bags for plastic and aluminum (otherwise we have to sort them).
• When you are ready, bring your bag(s) to our Library. If the library is not open, you can throw the bag(s) over the back fence.
