Spotlight: Family ArchivesSince opening our library in 1991, NVGS members have donated their family archives for use by other researchers. These archives often include family trees, documents, letters, memorabilia, and photographs, as well as information on peripheral families. Energetic volunteers have created inventories of the contents of the following family archives, to help make them more accessible: Burch • Chapman • Clarke • Dennis • Grigsby (incl. 19th century letters) | Donate Your ResearchDonations of research materials (e.g., genealogy and history books, personal genealogical research, family archives) without conditions are welcomed, subject to NVGS Librarian approval. Research on Napa County and other local families is of particular interest. The materials should be well-organized. We ask that your research donation be accompanied by a monetary gift to cover costs inherent in accepting new acquisitions. For more info, contact Librarian@NapaGenSoc.org. |
