Aspirations of Our Ancestors

At holidays, birthdays, year's end, or times of great change, we tend to hold hopes and wishes for ourselves, our families, and the world. At our first Round Table Discussion Group of 2023, we will share our thoughts in response to the following question:

What hopes or wishes may a remembered or discovered ancestor have had during a specific time of life transition?

Transitions can include life milestones, job changes, birth or death of family members, migration, etc. Discovering the stories of our ancestors requires fact-finding and imagination. We look forward to starting the New Year with stories that bring our ancestors to life.
